What happened to the National Staff Badge?  It is still listed in 39-1 but I can't find the badge on Vanguard.

That's not a bad idea...

...OR...

We put a clause in CAPR 39-1 that within 5-years of any uniform change by the USAF, it will be adopted, with appropriate CAP modification, by CAP.

Air Force in 2027:  Adopts new multicam variant
CAP in 2028:  Can't find OCPs

The Principal or the Superintendent of Schools would qualify as a "local dignitary" so if they're on board, I would go with them. It's good press for your squadron and the School District.

Individual Achievement - Cadet Commander, Unit Commander, or Deputy Commander
Wright Brothers Award - Unit Commander or local dignitary
Mitchell Award - Group Commander, Wing official, or local dignitary
Earhart Award - Wing Commander, elected official, or dignitary of similar stature
Eaker Award - Region Commander, elected official, or dignitary of similar stature
Spaatz Award - National Commander, National Vice Commander, other CAP general officer, military flag officer, governor, member of Congress, or dignitary of similarly high stature
