The CyBorg is destroyed

That AF page showing orders of dress is well done, but it would never happen with us...because, as I see it, there is never going to be a definitive 39-1 produced.

The informal uniform...I wonder what situations would call for that.  Cripesallbloodymighty, the anti-military set within CAP would get a lot of ammunition out of that "SEE! The AIR FORCE wears polo shirts!"

The Informal Uniform is worn by services personnel when working at the gym, or in lodging or things like that. I hate it. I think it looks wrong for military personnel to be wearing when administering PT tests and whatnot.  I see no reason for it other than 'it's easier.'

Even worse, some recruiters wear it to airshows while everyone else is in full ABU's or short sleeve blues.

The informal is used predominately by FSS personnel working in the gym and mainly the chaplains group.  At least here if there is mil working the front desk at billeting then they are either in blues or UOD.

I did pitch it to our treaty compliance officer for escort duty but so far nada.  It is one of those uniforms that falls into certain AFSCs for wear.
