At work we are going to demo this product.  They will allow you to demo it for 2 months free with no commitments.  All you need is a laptop with an Aircard of some type, Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and a whole host of others, and a video camera.  We have had nothing but trouble with our BMS Systems Microwave Downlink.  You can broadcast real time video via cell.  The couple of people I have talked with who use it say it works great.

Rob: I can see lots of uses in your line of work.  For CAP, it isn't complicated enough nor expensive enough and it won't take five years to bring it online.

What is it you're expecting CAP to do with their products - the website is so heavy with management and marketing speak I can't really figure out what they even do.

If this is for real-time broadcast of video via cel phones, modt smartphones can do that today without any special head-end gear or setup.

There is no high end gear.  All it is was the software.  You provide your own laptop and camcorder and you can send out real time video from the air.

I think the things CAP could do with it are pretty obvious.  I may have posted the wrong link on their site, but its there.  They will also allow you to demo it free for 2 months with technical support.  We did a demo where the guy was in Conneticut watching a car from a plane and I was watching it on my computer in CA.  Pretty cool.

Via what sort of link?  We can do that today with a cel phone.

All I see on their web page is rack-mounted equipment and marketing-speak.  I literally can't figure out what they make or do.
