O.R.M.S.

I had been getting all these e mails about ORMS. I had glossed over them having just a couple of minutes to look at my inbox thinking they were on safety. Now going back and reading them, I find that they are about Operational Resource Management System. Couldn't we come up with a better or different acronym for a database. Although it does something I am in favor of... It combines two databases into one. If only we could get down to ONE instead of the current eight or ten. But won't a lot of people confuse it with OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT or am I showing my technological ignorance.

It was originally proposed as Inventory Management System. IMS sounds much better.

With glazed eyes the DC and LG both said "I know we mentioned that, it fell on deaf ears"
