CAP Leave Law by State

I am working on proposing legislation for a CAP Leave Law for our state.  What other states have a current CAP Leave Law and are there other states currently working on getting one implemented?

Colorado recently passed one that applies to government employers only.  PM me and I'll dig up the statute number if you are interested.

2007 Minnesota Statutes
181.946 LEAVE FOR CIVIL AIR PATROL SERVICE.
Subdivision 1. Definitions. For purposes of this section, "employee" and "employer" have the meanings given them in section 181.945.
Subd. 2. Unpaid leave required. Unless the leave would unduly disrupt the operations of the employer, an employer shall grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee for time spent rendering service as a member of the civil air patrol on the request and under the authority of the state or any of its political subdivisions.

Since this is a thread for the benefit of everyone, I'll post the info. The Colorado law applies to public and private employers. The difference being that public (govt) employees must get leave with pay. Private employers don't have to pay those on leave. Both CAP and non-CAP volunteers are covered, but under different state statutes. The Colorado Division of Emergency Management has a synopsis of the laws here:

The public employee leave is 28-1-104 and private employee leave is 28-1-105 of the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS)

AN ACT to create and enact chapter 37-29 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to job protections for volunteer emergency responders of the adjutant general's office; to amend and
reenact section 54-06-27 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to public service job protections for volunteer emergency responders; and to declare an emergency.[/]

b. "Volunteer emergency responder" means an individual in good standing as:
(1) A volunteer member of the North Dakota army national guard or North Dakota

Tennessee gives state employees 15 work days per year to participate in CAP missions, training, and activities.  I used 5 days last year to attend the Wing encampment.

New York has a bill before the assembly, referred to committee on government employees. I've already emailed / written the committee hoping that it'll push it up a little. One can only hope.
