Retirement Certificate 6 months late and wrong

This is true, our Group Commander will not give advanced grade willy-nilly, a CAP officer has to assume a duty in the squadron that demonstrates that the skill is contributing to CAP.  Even former active duty officers (and our Group Commander is a retired USAF Lt Col and retired CAP SPAATZ cadet, so those that might think he is a non-prior with "delusions of grandeur"...a common claim when a CAP Group Commander hold high standards in this regard...are way off base.  His purpose is a simple one, give CAP rank and grade meaning and significance)

Thus, in our Group "grade" is not a "freebie."  We are also ordered/highly recommended against not to "recruit" by dangling advanced grade to potential newbies.

Florida Wing has a policy that former officers will not be advanced to a grade higher than Captain, until they have served for at least six months.

Aw Shucks guys........my wife received her NASA thank you certificate for service during the shuttle recovery with her name spelled wrong.  Never could get it corrected.  I guess that's life.
