Lt. Col. Fred Haddad has Gone West

Lt. Col. Fred Haddad of the Ohio Wing, passed away on 25 July 2009.

Fred was a charter member of the CAP cadet program, joining in 1942.  He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II as an aerial gunner, and later served with the Air Force in the Korean War.

In CAP he served in every possible assignment, commanding both the Toledo Cadet Squadron and Ohio's Group 6.  He was a qualified observer.

He retired from CAP for health reasons in 2000.
