Major Carrales

We had a very excellent FLAG DAY Ceremony in Kingsville, Texas.  The Elks Lodge, American Legion Post, Sailors from NAS Kingsville and CAP Cadets from Corpus Christi and Kinsgville really did an outstanding job.  I'll post more as I have time to prepare an article for Publication.

Anyone else do some work for Flag Day?

From the Somerset Daily American:

Members of Somerset's Civil Air Patrol tussled with a strong breeze Sunday as they let loose the newest tribute to Flight 93 passengers.
An 85-pound American flag was carried into the sky by the warm June wind – the first time a giant flag shadowed Somerset in two years.
"Is it not wonderful and glorious to see Old Glory waving over Somerset?" Brig. Gen. Robert Sembower Jr. asked about 200 people who gathered behind the Quality Inn to witness the raising. " Thanks for bringing back the big flag".

Our squadron's been part of this project for a few months.  It's been a great experience.

{I'd post pictures but I can't seem to load any on here.}
