New Emergency Management symbol

Read something in the paper today(Don't ask me for a cite other than it was in the Sunday St. Louis Post Dispatch) that said the Obama administration was shutting down a DHS program to develop new symbols and letterheads in order to save something like $2.3 million.

After looking at that document, I don't want to hear any more guff about CAPTalk members spending too much time worrying about what our patches look like.....

I thought it was interesting. I wasnt intending to make a 3 or 4 page thread about it. Just a comment.

I doubt it. thats probably some crap his opponets put out. I think the Presidnt of the United States has a lot more to worry about than letterheads and symbols.

I was making fun of the people who complain about CAP uniform threads as if it were something that only CAP spent time arguing about.

Correct that to they changed the symbol. That changed happened in November 2006 - two years before the "O" got elected.
