I just renewed my membership again.  It really wasn't as hard of a choice this year as it was three years ago.  But every time I renew it brings back all the good things that I have done in this organization and all the people I have met.

This renewal will bring me to my 15th year in CAP.  I realized the other day that the cadets joining today were born when I started in CAP.

They seem different than I did at that age.  More sheltered, awkward and intimidated.  But that's okay, we can still teach them something.  We can show them the world, build their confidence and teach them to lead.  We can help them get where they want to go and have a heck of a lot of fun doing it.

It's a great day and I'm proud to continue to call myself a CAP member!

HA! When I renewed last week, it told me the site was down and to try back again later!  I almost took it as an omen, but decided to try back later.  Re-upped again myself.

I barely remember my 15 year anniversary.  What about you Stonewall?  ;)

For some strange reason I have a feeling that your memory problems have little to do with the amount of time you have in CAP  >:D

UK, it's all a matter of perception.  You call me n00b, my cadets call me god...(not really, but it sounded good :) )

Next Year will be my tenth year though in reality it will be only my fifth or sixth year as a SM.

This will be my 5 year. It's strange to think back about how many people and things have changed in the five years I've been in. Kind of makes me wonder what it will be like in CAP another five years from now.

Just went past 36 years last January.  I'm still debating if it's dedication or stupidity. ;)

I'll be hitting 20 yrs as a Senior Member in Jan.  And 1 yr as a cadet way back during the Viet Nam era.  Cadets now don't even know where that is.

Renewed in Feb to start year 17.  Only have debated with myself about 15 times as to whether or not I should renew.  Somehow, always do.  After 4 yrs ROTC and 30 of commissioned service, you would think that I would have enough.
