I was hoping for a little help. As the squadron's communications officer, my Squadron commander has asked that I prepare a Communications Continuity Manual. He did give me some ideas, but I was wondering if there is  a standard format that the manual should follow. I have printed out 100-1, the 214 pamphlet, and the Wing call sign structure sheet as well a some blank copies of the communications log. I am going to put a FOUO tag on the cover, but should I include the repeater directory? If anyone has prepared one of these before and can give a little guidance, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance-

I suppose duplicating information readily available to anyone is ok, but the standard forms and regs aren't specific to your unit.

What really needs to be in there are things only your unit CommO would know:

Where the radios are.
Manuals for them.
Channel plan and any customization.
Accessories, manuals for those, and location.
copies of the inventory docs and 37's

etc.

Do you take stock of where your Wing's repeaters are and include that as part of your comm plan for where your unit could deploy? I would suggest that you organize MROs to be given an instruction set that deals with comm challenges that they may face in the field.
