Hey all you CAPTalkers - I need some feedback.

I've thrown together a rough cut of a fund raising video that I'm working on:

Let me know what you think.  Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Tater

Very well done.  The airborne shots were excellent!  The video really made me want to find out a lot more on a recruiting level and I think it would be very effective in fund raising as well.  Nice job!

DC

Excellent video, very well done.

My only other comment is that the opening 'I've been a member for x years' sequence is a little too long, after a few people it gets somewhat repetitive..

But, other than that it was fantastic!

I agree with DC all around.  I especially like the aerial shots.

Pylon

Very interesting video.  Are you planning a capital fundraising project to fund the building shown in the last shot?

That's the plan!  Thanks for the feedback - I'll keep it in mind when I work with the editors on the final video.

Liked the soundtrak as well.  I agree with shortening the intro.  Maybe just use some examples that show the broad range of years and experience.

Actually, the music featured is just a stock filler.

Murph is having a soundtrack composed specifically for the piece.

This video will be a text-book example of what can be accomplished with effort, establishing connections, and planning.

They've been working on this for several months.  This was shot by a professional film crew who's time and equipment was donated by a local production company that does very well-known national television shows.

I was there the other night when they were shooting the sitting interviews - the effort put into just lighting the airplane was amazing to watch.

I'm looking forward to see this more than I am the next Star Trek movie.
