Experiences you learned from cap?

Mine was to respect Cap cadets/seniors. Learn to due drills.

Well, one of the very first things I learned as a 14 yo cadet was that it's CAP, not Cap, or cap, when referring to the organization.

And the time is now due to do drill correctly.

I learned as a SQD Commander to have coffee and some type of baked food readily available whenever there was an activity or meeting

Only for the senior members though . Cadets + coffee/sugar/caffeine = Trouble/Senior Member headaches/calls from mad parents...I can go on forever

Hmmm, some things I learned from CAP.....

Don't eat yellow snow.

Don't put your tent downwind from the latrine facility.

Hand propping an airplane is bad.

Fire is HOT.

The airplane you are looking for is always in the last place you search for it.

Missions will always come at the worst time (i.e Christmas Day)

I learned that listening and reading are more important than talking and writing.

I learned to double-check, then triple-check, and finally quadruple-check your information before either asking a question or correcting someone.
