In the specialty track checklist for PD, is there anything that is considered out of date because of going paperless or technological advancement,? especially when it comes to being required to complete for the ratings?

Just when it pertains to the 2 AFIADL related requirments.

Ok, so yes.  The stuff about AFIADL or whatever it is now has changed because they won't accept paperwork anymore.  Just follow the email procedures.

Otherwise I believe everything is current.

Where is speaks of promotions, we are obviously using paperless for duty performance so take the opportunity to process a mission related skill or something.

Explain this in a bit more detail. I want to make sure there is no misunderstanding.

Duty performance promotions = Time in grade, plus check boxes.  These are done using the membership-> promotion module in e-services.

Special Appointments, mission related skills, and the like are all done using a CAPF 2A.  You should process one of each to become familiar with the procedure.  But the important one is the version using the 2A because it will be questioned most frequently, so this will provide some valuable learning experiences into how to properly prepare a promotion/award action

Actually promotions are processed on a Form 2, not 2a.

I completed those requirements by showing members how to complete the online procedure.
