I think this is a very great idea. Every squadron in CAP should do this, it is a great way to help our troops and help spread the word about CAP.

Can you imagine what the troops would tell their families back home. " I get a care package from Civil Air Patrol"

USPS supplies aren't usually free, unless it's the Priority and Express packaging that you are going to spend more money mailing anyway.
