Does anyone have links to any ES/SAR/Homeland Security grants? I seem to remember one on here but can not find it....Thanks in advance!

Most HLS grants to local agencies now are coordinated through the State EMOs.  A full listing of federal grants, including HLS ones, can be found on grants.gov.  There are a lot of restrictions, reporting requirements, paperwork and processes involved with federal grants; it's never just a check in the mail.

Mike, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I know how these work, as I am an Emergency Manager in the USAF full time and work with the committees that review them. I do remember a recent post by one of our stalwart CAPTalkers with a linky to one of these grant processes. I am also curious as to the BEAR SAR grants that are available from a national SAR foundation. Anyone have any info on these items??
