Last thursday I submitted my application to be a SM.  lord knows I have been talking about it enough.

Welcome.  Go ahead and get used to signing your paycheck over to CAP.  Sometimes feel like I need to take out a second mortgage to keep up with the different uniform regs. Oh well, retirement isn't for a few more years.

I hear ya on that.  I am going to do what I can to keep the uniform thing as simple as possible.  I plan to keep in enough shape to not need to go the corporate uniform route.  I luckily have a bunch of left over BDU's from Army life.  The dress uniform thing looks to be an adventure.
