Dennis: looks like you have things well covered.  Realize now that Ft Meade is a NG post.  Still going to be hotter than blazes(?).  Like Ned Lee, I did my initial officer training in warm climates: still managed to survive.  I did ROTC Summer Camp and OBC at Ft Eustis, Va and MIOAC at Ft Holabird, Md.  Neither are garden spots and both are hot and humid in the summer.  Of course, hot is relative: if you have spent a year in Southeast Asia, you know what I mean.

Good luck and have a blast at the 6 Sep deal: CA is a bit far to come from for a beer.

hey all...

Halfway done here & going well. Will be done end of July & hitting the bar at the Denver Airport on the way home. The weather isn't bad actually. It's been fairly nice minus some rain early in the process. It's a hell of a lot of terrain (steep hills) and 3k altitude that all suck when you're coming from sea level flat houston, but drive on. I'll be out of here end of July & hopefully on to Rucker as soon thereafter as possible.

Talk to yall soon!!!

two weeks left. Done just about everything. Just hitting the field now for 10-12 days, and outprocess. Be nice to actually put on 2LT after all this work. Just a little harder than hanging around for six months in CAP.
