News is out: LTC Regena Aye will assume command of Kansas Wing at the Wing conference in May.

Gena is a former Spaatz cadet and previously held several unit, wing and Region staff positions. She's also been active with KSWG and NCR encampments as well as NBB.

Extracted from an earlier email:

This is to announce the selection of Lt Colonel Regena Aye as the next Kansas Wing commander effective at the conclusion of the Kansas Wing Conference on 31 May 2008.  A formal Change of Command ceremony will be held at the end of the Conference.

Lt Colonel Aye will be promoted to the temporary grade of Colonel and will serve a one year probationary period followed by a three year term upon successful completion of the probationary year.

Steve W. Kuddes, Colonel, CAP
Commander, North Central Region

" Skip a bit, brother."

"And then the Lord spake, saying: "First, shalt thou take out the holy pin. Then shalt thou count to three. No more, no less. "Three" shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be three. "Four" shalt thou not count, and neither count thou two, execpting that thou then goest on to three. Five is RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third number be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade to-wards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuffit. Amen."

BRAVO ZULU to KSWG.

I have served with Col (select) Aye, and she comes very highly respected in IAWG as well as in NCR.  Her Previous position was the Cadet Programs for NCR as well as the DDRA for the Region.

I worked with the colonel at NBB in 2003 and felt very privileged to work with her.  Very knowledgable, competent, and level headed.
