Here's an interesting tidbit for you: I proposed to a fellow 2d Lt on Valentine's Day. I first met her at our SAR Eval last year. We will try and do a CAP themed wedding in Sept. Here's how I did it: Proposal, and here is a pic of my Fiancé with my name tape over hers: Mikki Sinn (yes I know one cutout is backwards and that's not a proper tshirt. The pic was before her promotion.)

Congratulations!

Doesn't happen a lot but there are a handful of CAP founded Marriages out there, as a matter of fact there is a CAP founded wedding this year on 6-7-8.

Congrats!

While not rare, nice to see.

I even know of a few Senior/(former) Cadet marriages for those who wanna scream "Cadet Abuse" like mad sissies, too.

"And Saint Attila raised the Holy Hand Grenade up on high saying, "Oh Lord, Bless us this Holy Hand Grenade, and with it smash our enemies to tiny bits. And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs, and stoats, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and lima bean-"

" Skip a bit, brother."

"And then the Lord spake, saying: "First, shalt thou take out the holy pin. Then shalt thou count to three. No more, no less. "Three" shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be three. "Four" shalt thou not count, and neither count thou two, execpting that thou then goest on to three. Five is RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third number be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade to-wards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuffit. Amen."

Congratulations. That's a great proposal, wish I had thought of something that clever. When is the big day?

This is going to sound stupid but how does one throw a CAP themed wedding?  Coming from the hick-area, my family just does color-schemes :)

Well we are planning on borrowing from the AF and also making it up as we go along.

Congratulations,
My wife and I are one of the few CAP based couples as well.  Good luck with all your endeavors.  Remember she will always be the CINC Spouse though.
