Just what the title says... I've been noticing this happening more frequently lately and while I am not blaming captalk site or anything because I have a problem with my mail provider gong down regularly too and they say it isn't them either so I'm just trying to see if what I am seeing is true or not.

At times I too have difficulty getting in.....I haven't gotten the page that says unavailable, but it does take a bit of time to connect recently.

I just posted, but it took me so many tries and I gave up cuz it would give me the not available page everytime I tried to post to most of the other threads around here.

I've had problems occasionally, usually says 'unavailable"; but not always.  At least cap.gov is a whole lot more reliable. . . .

sigh... I'll come back next week when this isn't so aggrevating. Its happening to me a lot, pure random... I think its my internet not captalk.

I had no idea cap.gov had reliability issues, but then again they should with the amount of people needing to access Eservices more regularly now that more features/approvals are needing to be done there.

I'm not having any trouble.  Maybe the weather in your area affecting your internet service?

seems like my issue is fixed... I rebooted my PC and it did the trick. But I had noticed an odd disappearing of captalk in the days before then today I noticed almost every website was doing it.

So I had to ask, sorry :(

powercycling a DSL/cable modem and one's router before you reboot your PC never hurts either.

Unless of course, your modem is on fire.  ;)

I have a problem where I can click on two or three threads and then it bogs down.  I can still get in but it takes a long time to open a new page.

Yeah, happens to me too and I usually connect through one of our T3 lines at work and I know for sure it isn't our network or my laptop.

The problem I have isn't so much not being able to access the site, but occasionally it has unbelievably long load times...like right now actually...

I'm not complain' though - CAPTalk treats me well :)

About once a week from several hours to all day I cannot access the site. It just tries to load for a few minutes and then tells me the page is unavailable...

You're absolutely right, I was going to do it and reboot the PC in the process but while I was rebooting I forgot and then came back and it worked just fine... odd.

My ISP has been such a crapper, they are forcing me to move (as they are the only ISP out here) and I'm tired of shelling money for service I don't even get that I pay for.

Uh Oh!  I think it happened again - is everyone OK?
