If you are looking to save some money on HF antennas, go to www.k1jek.com for an inexpensive one for the mission base/squadron Hq.
It requires an antenna tuner but is supposed to cover all frequencies between 160 and 10 Meters.  Also visit www.ldgelectronics.com for some excellent auto-tuners. They will work with the Motorola equipment or interface with other "ham" transceivers using the optional interface cable.
It also provides positions for 2 antenna positions so you can take advantage of polarity for close in mobile work, etc.  Check these sites out.
