Obviously, this is done for a good cause but is Halloween the best day to it, when CAP uniforms might be mistaken for "costumes" ?

NEWARK -- Newark (Ohio)  residents should be prepared with more than just candy this year for Halloween.

"The cadets of the U.S. Civil Air Patrol will be knocking on doors in full uniform today as part of their first "Trick or Treat for Canned Food" drive to benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

Members of the CAP have been collecting canned foods in Whitehall for 10 years and have helped start not only Newark's food drive, but Newark's CAP program, which is based out of the Licking County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management."

I think it is a great day to do it:

"Oh, what are you dressed up as?"

"CAP Cadets."

"What are those?"

and all the people are at home when you knock on the door so you get more bang for your time.  Great work TEAM!
