Cadet Tech. Sgt. Carson B. Hiller
Jamestown Composite Squadron
New York Wing

Carson B. Hiller, 20, of Jamestown, unexpectedly passed away all-too-soon after a short but complicated case of newly diagnosed epilepsy. He was born in Jamestown on April 15, 2004, to Christine Hazenberg Dalziel and Mark Hiller.

An avid character of all sorts, Carson graduated from Falconer High School and from the BOCES auto technician program. His schooling and mechanical inclination for automotives led him to work at Hiller Tire Service as an auto technician. He had unmatched passion for working on his truck and other various vehicles.

Always found in his simple but suitable outfit of a black shirt and khakis, Carson was sure to greet everyone with a, "howdy," and brought endless smiles to everyone he encountered.

There were no bounds or limits to what Carson would do; in fact, his intelligence mixed with his admittedly ornery nature yielded a unique sense of humor for all to enjoy. As an ode to his desultory interests, Carson followed Canadian politics and cared to impress those facts on his family and friends, too.

The Civil Air Patrol called Carson a longtime member and, along with his family, they were often recipients of his fantastic gourmet cooking.

Uncharacteristic hobbies were Carson's quiet ideals. He was forever deriving a new toy of sorts and had an affinity for his own spin on gardening. Brewing libations also held Carson's curious fascination.

While Carson operated under his own volitions only, his spirit was vibrant and will continue to stir through those left with his memories. Carson served as a compass to many, perpetually helping others to find their ways.

His light will be deeply missed by his mom, Christine (Debra) Dalziel of Lakewood; his dad, Mark Hiller of Jamestown; his siblings, Meghan (Jorden Crouse) Hiller of Jamestown and Mindi (Jason) Fenn of Arizona; aunts and uncles: Warren, Brian, Paul, Andy, and Leslie; and his grandparents: William and Patricia Hazenberg and Georgia Hiller.

Carson was preceded in death by his grandpa, Richard Hiller.
