New USAF/USSF Grooming Standards

Patches, Nail Polish, Shaving: Here Are the New Air Force Dress and Grooming Standards

I wonder how this will affect those wearing USAF-style Uniforms.

I guess the "AUX" Patch on the CAP version of OCPs is now out.  ;)

As an aside, I think doing away with the "SF" patch is silly. MP and SF Brassards have existed since the start of Military Law Enforcement, quick and easy way to identify the on-duty LEO, now not so much.

The Air Force Air Police/Security Police/Security Forces haven't worn brassards since the 1960's.
Their blue beret makes them pretty easy to spot today.

The "MP" and "SF" Velcro patch is the modern-day Bassard. In the Army the official nomenclature for the patch is "MP Bassard". I did not realize the USAF/USSF didn't use the term anymore for the SF patch.

Do they wear the blue beret in forward areas too?

Or, maybe now its "distinctive" in a way it wasn't before this guidance.
