Hello,
A deacon from my church would like to become a Catholic CAP Chaplain, I don't know if he can because he is not a priest, can a Catholic deacon be a Civil Air Patrol Chaplain?

They cannot be a CAP Chaplain. Another good source is your wing Chaplain.

A former CA Wing Commander is an Episcopal deacon and, I believe, a chaplain. And, I recall an Orthodox Christian chaplain who was a Reader (the lowest of the Minor Orders).

I'm just asking: what is your source for "They cannot...?"

This isn't a good question to ask here. Best to pose it to the chaplains, in my opinion.
