How could a cadet be a part of this? Or is it only for senior members?

Based purely on the info in the article, this would appear to be a Senior-only situation, and speculation would
be a very small, select-few Seniors, probably with related Bio-medical experience.

I think there will likely be two levels of testers - the technical folks - small number, specially vetted, and the usability folks - larger number, dealing more with can we fly with these items. Basically, pass them to several aircrews with instructions to wear it on a sortie and fill this form out afterward.
