On Friday, September 7, 2018, Dr. Robert Carl Fritz, loving husband, son and friend passed away at the age of 46. Robert was born on February 27, 1972 in Los Angeles, Ca. to Helmut and Jean Fritz. He graduated from Desert High School in Lancaster, Ca. in 1990 and received two Bachelors of Science from Idaho State University in 1997 and 2000. He received his Doctorate degree from Parker University in Dallas in 2004 and started his own practice in Pocatello Idaho as a Chiropractor. For the next 13 years he practiced in Idaho, Kansas and Texas committed to his work healing people. Rob was known for his kind and compassionate nature, as he never met a stranger. He started his career as an EMT and worked in many different areas of the health care system while going to college.

On November 14, 2009 he married the love of his life Dawn. Though they did not have children they have/had several fur babies in the almost 9 years of their marriage. From a young age of 18, Robert joined the Civil Air Patrol (AUX USAF) and has been in squadrons from California, Idaho and finally here in Texas. Some of his duties included Medical Officer, Assistant Deputy Commander of Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education Officer, but his proudest moment was his title as the Squadron Commander of Pocatello Composite Squadron. He just recently joined the Squadron as a Major here in Katy (CAP 179th) and had just finished Ground Team and Mission Observer/Scanner training this past summer. He was preceded in death by his father Helmut Fritz and mother Jean Fritz and father in law Harold Stull. He is survived by his wife Dawn Fritz, mother in law Edith Stull, step mother Anita Fritz and many family and friends who will miss him deeply.
