Congratulations to both of you.  My goal is to follow your lead and be a squadron CC someday.

I recommend Squadron Commander to everyone. It is the best assignment in CAP. Group Commander was ok, I let you know what I think about Wing Commander in a few years. But Squadron Commander is so excellent, Cadets will remember you when their children is ready to join up. You get 'thank you' notes, ten years after the fact.

Thank you for your kind words, but I do not have the personality necessary to command, but have also been a Vice-Flotilla Commander in the USCG AUX.
