Hello all. I was given the task of updating a Continuity Manual. Since no one has held that staff position for several years, I've been amazed at some of the stuff I've been finding in there. It has stuff that was written while I was still in high school, but I digress. I've found regulations that I've never heard of. They're not listed on the CAP members list of regulations and forms. When I type them into the Knowledge base section there's not much in the way of results. I even has some wing supplements that are not listed on my state's website. My question is some what dumb I admit, but how do you for sure if the regulation is no longer used? Also if it is superseded does any kind of notification get sent out to a lower level of the chain of command? Thanks in advance.

No. The only notification is via the RSS if it is posted properly there.

Otherwise the OPR is supposed to be checking.

These days regs should not be printed and kept locally, just refer to the webpage.

At least you have a Continuity Manual. I still get asked to go out on SUIs, (I was an IG for 4 years) usually for problem Units, and they have nothing. So at least you have an outline of what needs to be done.   8)
