I understand that, but I'm asking specifics (Ex. Going to an event at an AFB, Honor Guard, etc.)

If it something outside of your your unit you'll have to ask your Squadron Commander, so go ask your Squadron Commander.

If it's sponsored by your unit they will tell you the uniform of the day, If it's outside the Unit you need your Commander's approval to wear the uniform at an outside event.

From a different angle:

It's either a CAP sponsored activity, or a CAP attended activity. As such, a UoD is typically prescribed.

If it's not CAP, ask your commander first.

Is it a CAP event that the appropriate dress for a civilian would be a suit and tie?  I like to start there.
