So I just picked up a few USAF Honor Guard Uniforms- Was wondering if CAP Cadets can wear the uniform with the silver the stripe on the trousers for honor guard? Are there regs or it? And can squadrons have hg's?

No, they cannot wear the USAF HG uniform.

Yes, there are regs for it (CAPM 39-1).

Yes, squadrons can have Honor Guards. The cadet honor guard uniform is outlined in the aforementioned regulation.

Check CAPP 52-8 and the new interim guidance for the new Honor Academy program.
But hold on to that silver piping... You wouldn't believe how expensive that stuff is.

The two manuals you should read are:
CAPM 39-1 + Interim Change Letters(ICL's) to CAPM 39-1 (The CAP uniform manual and sole regulation governing wear of any uniform to be worn by CAP
and
CAPP 52-8 (CAP Unit Honor Guard Program; the guide to setting up honor guards at the squadron level)

You could possibly make a [darn] good profit selling those, enough that you could properly outfit your Honor Guard with equipment. HG uniforms from the USAF are hard buys. If you have them in a matching set, you could turn over a really nice profit to a USAF uniform collector. Sets sell extremely well.

I kinda want one of the honor guard jackets.

Before anyone can say that there's no difference; There is.
The honor guard jacket doesn't have the traditional "American" slits in the back, unlike the standard jacket. If you read the AF regulations on this, it's actually a European style cut, which allows for more relief.
TL;DR:
Standard has one slit, honor guard has two.

And I mean, I personally think I look better with the European cut. :D
