I just came across a new paperback book published very recently (30 June 2013) and available at Amazon for a very expensive $50.  The title is:

"Civil Air Patrol: Organization and Homeland Security Role (Defense, Security and Strategies) "

Has anyone here read this book, or participated in writing it and can maybe give us an idea of what its innards are?

Thanks,

jimmydeanno

Sounds more like a Masters' Thesis than an actual "book."

Here's the table of contents from the publisher's website. Looks to me like you pay $52 list ($46.80 with 10% publisher discount) for three documents that you can get for free.

Unbelievable that people do that, and even more incredible that people buy it.

Oh, well, that makes sense. It took some time to get the report and put it together in the package that is currently being sold.

There's a lot of that of that out there, and services that sell user manuals and similar which can be
download for free direct from the internet, etc. eBay is chock full of that kind of stuff.
