If you are a member around SE TX, Galveston, Baytown, Houston. Please PM me regarding squadrons in
that area. Im more interested in the ES side of things. Any squadrons active in the aviation side of ES with aircraft assigned?  Im also interested in the overall program in Tx.

That sounds like you're looking at losing some FAT.. when the chopper rises, you can see a lot further over there.

There are several units in Houston, there is a Senior unit at Baytown and at Hobby Airport,
One Composite at Ellington Field and several more in the area Group IV has about 830 members at this time in SE Texas.

I hope you like mosquitos, heat, humdity, refineries, and traffic!   >:D

On the other hand, there's a lot of hospitality and great food in Southeast Texas!

That's a bit unfair. There is that one week in January we don't have any of those.

I lived in San Antonio for 6 years. I recall a few fronts coming through where it snowed about 1/4" and the city came to a crawl and shut down. We were all sent home from work. Of course, growing up in New England I found it funny. Great city though...loved living there.

Alright, I'll give you that one.  There's nothing like waking up to the sound of Jefferson County Mosquito Control 's Agwagons and their 1965 Beech King Air as they spray the neighborhood.  Oh, and don't forget the fogger trucks in the evenings!  Beaumont, Texas- voted to be the saddest city in America!   Laissez les bon temps rouler!
