Too funny, but so true. I recall many of times while stationed in Hawaii, my fellow USAF chums and I would say those while we watched a 25 foot wave roll in on the North Shore. The words following shortly after weren't so pleasant

You're right.  Most of the ones I've heard and a few of the ones I've told have begun with, "So, there we were/was....."
