Does anyone out their know any regulations about CAP squadrons having a marching band? I am aware that there used to be an NCSA that covered this sort of thing called the National Military Music Academy. Are their any squadrons that have done this before? Also, can someone give me some insight as to what the NCSA curriculum was like? What marching band/military techniques are used? What music is played? What uniform is worn while playing in the marching band?

That kinda sounds like fun :)
.. though if keep track of color guard equipment is of any indicator .. that's just for 5 cadets. That could possibly be an expensive proposition.

Here's a bit from CadetStuff archives:

..and the CAP Service Song .. I have to hope they played that :)

If you're looking at setting up a military music program in your wing, perhaps you could coordinate with the local National Guard band?  http://www.in.ng.mil/Organization/38thDivisionBandHome/tabid/1121/Default.aspx  The soldiers there may be willing to offer insight and training to your program.
