New to CAP. Was wondering if there are any academies that senior members can attend?

All of NESA's schools are open to seniors, and some (aircrew) and restricted to 18+, and are typically very heavy in the senior dept, no pun intended.

Most NCSAs have needs for seniors, whether it's participatory or supervisory.

In addition to the above:

There are the professional development seminars aimed at senior members: Squadron Leadership School, Corporate Learning Course, Unit Commander's Course, Training Leaders of Cadets, Region Staff College, National Staff College.

There are specialty track specific seminars and courses, such as Inspector General courses, Chaplain's seminars, etc.  Sometimes there are national conferences/seminars/academies for specific specialties.  I've seen a national Public Affairs Officer course before.

There are distance learning opportunities for senior members including USAF Squadron Officer School, Air Staff & Command College, Air War College, and others (though they have rank and academic pre-requisites)

Hawk Mountain has courses open to senior members.

NBB uses senior members in operational capacities, though it's less of a "formal learning environment" and more of a "practical application" activity.

And of course all encampments and NCSAs need senior member volunteers to run (and SM's sometimes get to do the cool stuff that the cadets do).  This includes enjoying free travel to foreign lands via IACE as an escort (though that particular activity is not open to new SM's)

in a shameless plug: all of Hawk Mountains tranining programs are also open to seniors as students from brand new/basic through wing CC and ops officer type level courses.
