C/2d Lt

I have just received the model rocketry badge. I understand that it goes under the name portion of the uniform however at the squadron that I attend the cadets are wear it under the Civil Air Patrol portion of the uniform. How should I tell them that they are incorrect? This is also a large number of cadets. Should I attach it on the correct side or just talk to the cadets individually about the problem. OR am I just reading the information wrong and they are correct? I will soon be attending encampment and would like to get it right.

Wear it properly and when they ask show them the regulation.

Remember it's worn on different sides depending on the uniform.

BDUs = right side under your name.

Blues = Left side under your ribbons.

Metal Badge - worn only on blues, under the ribbons

Cloth Patch - worn only on BDUs, under the name tape

Is this correct?
