New Puerto Rico Wing Commander

Rumor has it that LtCol Luis Cubano (former Vice Commander under Col. Rafael Roman) has been appointed by Col. Bedgood as the new Wing Commander for the Puerto Rico Wing.

Greetings All,

I am pleased to announce, Lieutenant Colonel Luis Cubano, Interim Commander, Puerto Rico Wing, has been selected to serve as the next Commander for the Puerto Rico Wing.  Lieutenant Colonel Cubano will continue to serve as the Interim Wing Commander until the change of command ceremony in San Juan on Saturday, 25, 2012. An announcement regarding the details of time and location will be forthcoming from the Puerto Rico Wing today.

Please join me in congratulating Lieutenant Colonel Cubano on his selection for Wing Command.

Is this an official communication from Al? Too sad that no one has received this in Puerto Rico and you guys in AL already know. To tell you the truth, I don't know if I have to congratulate him or give him my condolences. People often overestimate what comes attached to that responsibility. Anyways, now that its official, I offer my respect and admiration to him for sacrificing the next four years of his life for this organization.

That's one of the problems with authority.  For an honourable man, the responsibility always far outweighs the authority.
