Anyone else having problems with online testing in eservices? A few days ago I took a leadership test, passed but the finish button would not work, resulting in needing testing officer to log in and give access to retake it, though i got a satisfactory passing score. Just tonight i was going to take an aerospace module test, clicked on Agree to terms of use and had a page pop up saying i got a passing score of 80, passing, and also had the message of I started taking it too many times even though i clicked on it once, now needing testing officer granted access. Are any other cadets having this problem??

I think this has come up before - the final page is actually a pop-under that is sometimes blocked by pop up blockers.

Never hurts to snap a screen shot and just keep it. Then you can check your own tracking report to see if it posted.
Basically, if the finish button doesn't work.

You can then email it/print and hand to the testing officer, staff, however your unit handles tests.

Mac - Command-Shift-3 snaps the whole screen and places it on the desktop
Mac - Command-Shift-4 allows you select the area of the screen you want to save. Useful if you have a large display. Preferred actually
Windows - Shift-Print Screen (PrtScn) and open up the paint program and CTRL-V (Paste) and save it.
Ubuntu -  Applications —> Accessories —> Take Screenshot.

Actually, this happened to me a couple weeks ago. I took an Aerospace test (I passed), and when I got to the final screen, the "Finish" button just would not work. I printed out a screenshot of the final screen, where it says your score and everything. Then I signed that paper, and dated it- just like it tells you to do so in big red letters with many asterisk on the page before you take the test. I believe my Testing officer or Commander are currently in the process of sorting things out.

Vista and Win7 Snipping Tool for the win.

This happened to me too. Just retake the test, and take a picture or screenshot. Hopefully it will work again the next time, it did for me. If not, at least you have your score photographed.

I got my leadership test worke out because I actually took that test. But I'm saying I was going to take aerospace and without answering any questions it went back a page and it said I got a passing score of 80.

And I use Internet explorer

If you're using a new version of Internet Explorer, make sure you have compatibility mode turned on for the website.

Well, even though he is banned, don't listen to him. Taking a picture will not count as proof. Ever.

Based on what experience?  If one of my cadets came to me with a screenshot showing a passing score and s/he told me that they were having issues with the testing system, consistent with what I've heard from others, then I would manually enter that score and give them credit.  This has, in fact, happened since my time in my squadron.

What do you mean it doesn't count?

I'm not going to give a cadet hassle for doing what the entry screen even says to do.

It's not their fault that NHQ's system uses a proven to be a hassle solution for the test administering infrastructure. All things considered, it could be worse.

Now that I've got cadets nearing Mitchell on this stuff, I'm happy to hear them actually complaining about the test "difficulty". "You better know the material, or that 30 minutes is simply not enough time."

EDIT: Added Screen Shot to seal the BS flag on this one. (and I hate editing posts)

I've been forced to retake tests on two occasions due to eServices not processing my test correctly. I even took the screenshots. It's up to the testing officer and mine just chose to make me take the tests again, even after showing her the screenshots.

Okay, so not "ever". My apologies.

Yes, I was born ... but not yesterday. Not even remotely close to it.
If a cadet wants to fake up a screen shot with a different test name/score on it, great.  It will show on their milestone attempts.

..and it really would be a whole lot easier just to pass the thing by reading the material. It's flippin' open book already. 30 minutes is NOT a lot of time if you have no idea about the material in the chapter.

It'll show.

I'm having problems with testing too, but my problem is that some problems show as "Not Answered" when I did.
No matter how many times I try to click a choice and click "Next Question", certain questions stay "Not Answered" and have been cleared when I go back to the question. Extremely frustrating. I just reported it through the CAP Help Desk.

Anyone else having this problem? Solutions?

Answer this (most shots in the dark):

What OS(es) have you tried it on?
What browser(s) have you tried it on?
Are you using any sort of ad blocker?
Any router restrictions?
Go to speedtest.net, and tell me your internet speed.
Are you running a proxy?
Is java and flash updated and installed?

Is there a pattern on which questions that you answered say "Not Answered?"

Ah, forgot to add:
Used on Win7 Home Premium on two different computers.
Tried on both Chrome and Firefox, both updated.
I do have an ad blocker, but that can't be the problem since it doesn't have anything to do with popups or boxes coming up, and it only occurs on a random number of questions (about 7 of the L2L and 2 of the Journey of Flight questions for me).
No router restrictions.
11.09 Mbps down, 4.15 Mbps up
Java and flash are both updated.
No pattern at all.

Try Internet Explorer. If it doesn't work the first time, then do this: Start IE>settings>Internet Options>Advanced tab>UNCHECK enable 3rd party extentions, click apply and try again.

Also try disabling ad blocker, and any other extensions. (other than flash or java extensions, and only those from adobe and oracle.)

Try a different OS with all the same stuff above.
