SAR-EMT1

The TV is reporting  martial law has been declared in New Orleans, the police department leadership may be fired and that a unit of National Guard MP's may take over law enforcement duties.   Truth ?

No.

One state guy saying things are out of control and asking for the Guard to intervene because of a child's death.

As with everything in the media, depends on who you ask. Although I wouldn't recommend asking that Lucifer guy in the comments... He sounds like a nutjob >:D.

You could not even began to make a dent in the crime in New Orleans in less than Division strength. I suggest nuking them. Bon Jovi is dead? That's such a shame....it should have been Bono.

Major Lord
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Hell, Steven Segal couldn't even clean up New Orleans, and he's been a Deputy for like 20 yrs.  Maybe if he had Chuck Norris to help him...
