O.K., My membership has been approved and my wife received the membership packet. But she said there is no ID number included with all the rest of the stuff. I want to get online and start my initial training, but can't get on e services without the number. Will they send me an ID card or do I need to contact someone to get my number.

Thanks

Karl

Just call someone in your squadron who has access to eServices and have them check for your CAPID number.  Just have them click on the number following the words "All Members in your Unit" in the top center of the page.  Everyone with eServices access should have access to this information.

... Interesting, if you got stuff but no card, or the card comes in the separate envelope. Though I thought that budget BS meant nothing was getting sent out.

The Permanent card gets sent out after the FBI Check clears....they still send the other membership materials beforehand.

Though nothing else with the CAP ID on it? (My original membership is from the era of the constant sending of cards, so if they stopped sending a temporary card all together I wouldn't know)

IIRC there was a CAPID Membership number on a letter but no temporary membership card.  that must get printed through eServices.  I had it long before I received anything from NHQ  Someone in my squadron pulled it from eServices.  I was done with Level 1 before I got my membership materials.

PM sent.

Anyone with eServices access can look up just about anyone else in any unit through Member Search. If it's a common last name, type it in, and look through the list of names, ten at a time. If it's a unique last name, type in the first few characters. These might have commonality with another name.

E.g. Bowlinghouse might be unique, but Bowl, or Bowling aren't.

I guess I will e-mail the 2LT and ask him to get the number to me. Thanks for the replies.
