Man, I really loved NESA.  my first year was the last time before it was officially called NESA.  Went back later for two years on staff as photographer, awesome times.

With any degree of luck I'll make it on as an NGSAR FTA... We'll see.

Didn't wanna tell you... we all talked about it and we're not sure you're cool enough. You might be able to bribe your way onto the staff with delicious homemade baked goods.

Just sayin.

And kidding... Did you want to work GTL?... 'cause I'd like to steal you to work there with us. Let me know if you want to chat about it some time.

You have two PMs. Also, my baked goods are crunchy, black, and tasteless >:D.

And everyone always thought I was the one responsible for the GSAR staffing - now I find out the truth.  Funny how I never see any of these supposed baked goods, but I always get the complaint emails.    :)

We are hoping to get NESA registration up in December, at which point staff applications will be accepted.  For those who will be applying to staff the activity, it is vitally important that you fill out the staff survey completely.

But you get to drive your Bronco and look "uberkewl" - that more than makes up for it >:D.

If I swing this right, we can have two-weeks worth of brownies for everybody...

I hope this little plan doesn't have any bearing on my application this year.

I was there in '99 when it was still NGSAR.  I was commandant of the Advanced Ground Course.  We were there together?  I figure I'd remember that  :-\

I think this might have been pre-CadetStuff, so we wouldn't have known each other. MBSS ran a continuous exercise using teams from NGSAR at the end of the week.  Some of the McIntosh family was there, though. (yeah, like that narrows it down)

Oh yeah, pre-CS.  Forgot about that.  [darn] that was a long long time ago. I was there with McIntosh(s), Langone, and a hand full of other DC wing folks.  We drove 2 vans that year.

I'll never forget that Cadet CC of the advanced course mouthing off in the barracks before he met me.  "I don't know who this commandant is, but he better realize I'm running the show here."  Ha ha...he was wrong.
