EO training for cadets?

I am a relatively new commander.  In E-services when I pull up member reports -> EO Training Report, I see a number of cadets listed there in red.  Now, I understand that Senior Members are able to take EO training online, but what about cadets?  Is there a link to EO training online in E-services or is there some alternate method to get them the training and to make their online record reflect?

I am pretty sure cadets don't do EO training. If they are allowed, they could access it through the Level I page in CAP University on capmembers.com

Cadets are not required to complete the on-line EO training. It makes no sense that they show on the report.

However, all members, including cadets, need to be briefed on an annual basis. I cover this with a Participation Letter in the SUI binder.

I'm a cadet and I did EO.

It is required, for cadets.

All you have to do is read stuff about not discriminating, than say "K I won't discriminate."
My former squadron commander just had everyone do it in meeting (took 5 minutes)

Even if it isn't, can't hurt? Eventually(more like hopefully) those cadets will have a high enough rank to actually discriminate(if they wanted to), so it could be beneficial.

Er, I haven't read it all...

But it is what my, at the time, squadron commander said we had to do, otherwise he'd move us to 000.
Therefore, you can see how I got this misconception.

And I said "even if it wasn't blah blah" because I wasn't sure.

The EOO will cause an independent, on-line Equal Opportunity Training (EOT)
program to be accessible through the NHQ CAP website. All active senior members (to include
cadet sponsor, life and 50-year members) shall complete this on-line EOT program.

no mention of it being mandatory for cadets.

That is merely for familiarization with the non discrimination program.  Which can be something as simple as "here's our regulation on EO" to a more formal presentation to the online training. 

5.e is the only section related to the online training, and explicitly states who is required to take it.

The verbiage is pretty clear.

So, did we ever figure out the answer to this question? Is there a standard briefing that cadets are required to receive in Phase I, or is it just on the commanders to ensure they're introduced to the EO policies?

Straight from CAPR 36-1 (with severe editing)

Here's the policy:

Civil Air Patrol Policy of Nondiscrimination. It is Civil Air Patrol policy that no member shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in any CAP program or activity on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, or disability (formerly handicap). It is Civil Air Patrol policy that no applicant meeting CAP's minimum age requirement will be denied membership in CAP on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, or disability (formerly handicap).

Here's the requirement for briefing and documentation:

All Commanders
• Will ensure that the CAP Nondiscrimination Policy is briefed annually to all members within their respective commands.
• Will maintain such records as they determine necessary to ensure compliance with these directives. These records will be made available for inspection upon request of the EOO, assessment teams or other competent authority.

Read the policy, write the participation letter and file it. You're done.
