There seem to be two sets of wings, but one looks like maybe jump wings? I thought (and I really don't know/remember) that only one set of wings is allowed. Obviously if one set is jump wings, then it's different, but which would be above, pilot or jump?

In CAP, CAP wings over-rule astronaut wings. ... or any wings. Without CAP wings, you can't fly anything else. That said, I'm going to go out on a wing and say .. the CAP wings go on top when there are these kinds of devices that are stacked.

If you are prior military and earned wings, you may wear them: pilot, navigator, enlisted aircrew, etc.  The CAP wings go on top.  Don't know about wearing CAP pilot and observer wings: never had the urge to do that, so don't know the rules.

CAP wings - pick one. You can't wear both MO and MP at the same time. The RealMilitary™ is like that, too.

I don't think jump wings are considered an aeronautical rating, so they can be worn at the same time as pilot wings. I think. It was discussed on here a while ago, but my Google-fu fails me tonight.

Upper wings appear to be jump wings, as noted above. Can't really tell what the lower set, but he doesn't currently have any ES or pilot quals. Not even expired. He's in GLR-001.

Considering this member was not attending NBB, there would be no beret on him, with that being said, the beret is authorized (at a minimum) at the activity. So if he was a beret, or attending the NCSA, he could wear it if he was in a field uniform.

Well I originally didn't know what CAP's goal was in getting a grant from this foundation.   At least, what the video interview indicated the grant is going to be used to expand the ACE (Aerospace Connections in Education) Programs, which covers K-6th grade.   Surely, if one looks at CAP charter of purpose, external aerospace education would be one of those goals, and hasn't been as strongly supported (because it is the membership's money versus the AF money, that supports this).   Personally, I believe that our internal aerospace education program is not very strong either.

I would have personally, liked to see the grant request be used to buy flight simulators (complete hardware & software packages) for squadrons use within the wings.  e.g. the unit could be moved to different squadrons for their use.  See a separate post in Aerospace education.
