I am trying to get in touch with someone from another squadron, but the member search function on e-services only allows me to get contact info from people in my squadron. Is there another function I should use? If not, how do you suggest I get in contact with them?
Any help would be appreciated!

There used to be a "National Reports" section, on the left. There you could find information about people outside of your unit. Otherwise, now, you need someone with WMU credentials to do it, outside of eServices. Or, of course - someone with greater scope in eServices. Depending on the setup, perhaps the unit CC might be able to search for you. A lot of times it's easier just to look at said units web site and you may find what you need.

I have wider than usual access on eServices, so I can't quite tell anymore what the limit is, but I do know the way I used to find stuff no longer is there.. hence the higher scope is very helpful.

You've just found out one of the limiting factors of e-services. It only allows you to look up members in your own unit. Members at the group, wing or region level can look up members within their scope but unit-level members only have access to squadron members.

Try this -
Go into the WMU or Wing Management Utilities and then go to "Member". Log in and then go to the "Phone/Email" link and enter the requested information. You should be able to look up anyone. Give this a try.

That worked! Thank you both!

Also, in the future, you can select the OpsQuals function on the right side of eservices. Then select a single-person entry, enter the name in question and it will give you a list of members nationally with that name. Simple select the one you are looking for and bring up their particulars.

CAP4117

I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

I almost mentioned, as in I removed the WMU comment from my reply, I just figured as it seems hardly anyone has access to it anymore, and not everyone else used it to begin with.

The OpsQuals thing brings up ES particulars. Nothing about contact. .. that I see, at least. If there's some secret pixel, or I'm blind ...

When you're in the OpsQuals section............. hit the icon at the top near the members name. It gives you their unit, their email address and some other basic info.

Okay, secret pixel status wins, and another score for un-intuitivity.

I'll admit, I've been guilty of flying so fast through eServices that I only recently noticed that the refresh (get a new user) swirly arrow thing was there. Much less that other one next to it, which gives nearly the same information that the whole screen displays from the onset. With addition of unit/email, and the unit is discoverable simply at the user search unless you pick someone with a unique enough name that the search immediately goes to their record.

I'm still used to being able to get actual phone numbers via Member Search, and WMU.

I can get actual phone numbers via member search, in the Contacts tab of their record, as long as it is kept up to date.
