Thanks @Lancer for that intro and getting me slammed with emails today.  I am currently in East Europe and have only a so so WIFI connection at my hotels.

If you want an account please email me but please don't expect any accounts to be set up until 1 Sept 11 when I get back into town and am finished with the GLR encampment at the end of Aug.

...and Dreamhost offers free hosting to non-profits, and Google offers free education accounts to CAP subordinates.

No need for donations, or telethons asking for them.

I know all the national capital wing emails are hosted by gmail.  They issue everyone in the wing an email address, give them access to calendars for aircraft, vehicles, training, meetings etc...shared network stuff like google apps and google docs.  All done free through google because we are a non profit.  It looks really great.

There's definitely some people at NHQ using it as well, you can tell when you add their contacts to yours - one of these days NHQ will expand the license, issue every member an email address, require it be used for CAP business, and we'll all be better off.
