On the packing list for NESA, there are forms that we need. Those would be Ground Team Member Task Guide, Blank Ground In terrogation Form (CAPF 106), and CAP form 60. Where do we get these forms?

Thanks.

You will get a task guide on arrival. You can review an online copy of it here.

Everything else is on www.capmembers.com

I'm sorry, don't mean to sound stupid, but you're going to a National activity and don't know where to get the forms?  And your commander approved your attendance at NESA?    :o ???

How long have you been in CAP?

If any of my members were going to any activity, especially a National activity, they would have at least the basic knowledge of where to get the forms, manuals, etc.    All members should be familiar with CAP F60 because it should be filled out BEFORE you go to an activity so you have the correct info.

I saw something similar to this several years ago when I attended NBB. We had several cadets that came into medical, and didn't know the first thing about what was on their paperwork. Some of the applications hadn't even been signed by the respective commanders.

I've been in about 6 months, but no one ever told me where to get form 60 even though it's come up before. o.o

If you don't have a Form 60 on your person during any CAP activity, you aren't supposed to participate.

Encampment made us carry them EVERYWHERE- by that, I mean to the point that mine fell apart at the end of the week from sweat from PT.

Just plain wrong.  Your activity may have required you to carry it but CAP does not require you to carry it.

See Section A (below) of  CAPR 35-2 Notification Procedures in Case of Death, Injury, or Serious Illness 12 JULY 2010

SECTION A - EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION DATA
1. Individual Member Responsibility. Before participating in any CAP special activity away from the local unit where the member may not be known personally, the individual member is responsible for completing one copy of CAPF 60 Emergency Notification Data. This form should be completed before leaving the unit to ensure that the member has the unit commander's full name and correct telephone numbers. It should then be hand carried to the activity site and filed with the project officer for easy reference in the event of emergency.

CapMember, if you don't have the forms upon arrival we will be providing them during the training. No need to worry about them for NESA just yet, but it is good to know where they are in the future.

This is why we train folks, Colonel.  :D  And I think we should be pretty forgiving for those of our teammates who haven't learned to navigate the deep dark administrative caves where we keep our troves of paperwork and bureaucracy.

Hmm, Short Field is certainly correct.
My squadron is very particular about always carrying Form 60s, and I thought because we have to. Now I realize the reason must be because we do so much ES, that way we don't end up on a mission without them- excessive training to be safe.

Never mind my above post- I can't edit it, but it is wrong.

Fill one out, fold it up, stick it in your wallet. Unless it changes a lot, your fine.
