Our Wing calendar has a "CDEX #2" coming up.  Can anyone tell me what a "CDEX" is?  I can't find reference to it in CAP Speak, Knowledge Base, or Google!   :-[

It may be a Counter-Drug Exercise

Seeing that you are  apart of TXWG, it is a Counter-drug Exercise.

You would think that would be one of those events that wouldn't necessarily be posted on the Wing calendar.  You know, one of those, if you need to be there, we will let you know kinda things.

Since it's Secret Squirrel stuff, they didn't want you to be able to read the calendar item.  Now you're in trouble.

They're posted on my wing's calendar. Mainly so other things don't get scheduled over them.

That bug on your sig has to be one of the most annoying things ever.

CDEX in CAP used to stand for Civil Defense Exercise. I haven't seen the term used for several years since ther is no longer civil defense/emergency management funding for that type exercise.

Thank you.  I am happy to be of service.

*ban*   :P  ;D  You know that if you comment on it, you only see it more in my reply.  You must secretly love it!  I was only going to keep it for a day, even though UK had it for a good long time.

AirDX is funny.  Give him some extra love to help him feel happier!

Until our new wing commander came in, I don't think anyone in the wing read the calendar anyway. Now they email the calendar out on a regular basis.

I say keep it, it's sort of an homage to UK.

Eh, the plan was just for the day, but it was because of him that I put it there.  I could always add it back to his signature line though!  haha.   >:D  I kind of felt like AirDX should have it in his because I think he could use some cheering up.  I bet he's an alright guy - whoever he is.  I hope he has a great day and doesn't let forums get 'em down!
