Colonel Al Bedgood, current SER Vice Commander. Col Bedgood is a good person, a retired Army Officer, and I am sure he will do a great job. Congrats to Col Bedgood.

Col Bedgood is a good choice. He will be an excellent addition to the NEC and, will be a great Region Commander. I wish him well.

Col. Bedgood gave me command of my squadron in Clearwater back in 2007, when he was the interim Florida Wing commander. He lives across the bay, in Tampa, and has always been good to have around. I'm happy to see he got the region job, though it's fair to say that the four candidates for the job -- all of whom live in Florida, all of whom were previous wing commanders (three for Florida, one Ohio, all wearing eagles) were all well qualified.

Me, I'm hoping there will be a place for one of the four candidates, who is currently out of a job in CAP. Maybe he'll be one of those region vice commanders you guys are asking about.

COL Bedgood was my instructor at the SER Staff College. Very nice man. We both speak Army too so thats a plus
